Delivering feedback to an employee can be challenging at times. To make it less stressful, we teach leaders a structure to use called “What? So what? Now what?” or the Prism/Critical Refraction model. By answering each of these questions when you deliver feedback, you can ensure the person on the receiving end understands what they did, why it’s important, and what they should do next time. These handy sticky notes remove the guess work, and can be used as a prompt, or you can write on them to think through your feedback before delivery. Or even leave them around the office to provide praise for everyday behaviors that frequently get overlooked!
